Hydrate internally and externally:
To hydrate yourself internally and externally is important for your overall health, not only skin but it affect your body internally. To maintain internal hydration it is crucial to drink plenty of water more than normal, especially if you are travelling by air. Travelling by air can cause too much dryness because of low humid environment. Use of hydrating moisturizers helps a lot to maintain skin hydration. Hydrated skin glow more than dehydrated and dull skin, dehydrated skin make person looks more dull and tired.
Adapt to local climate:
Adaption of climate is way too important. If you are travelling for one climate to another you need to change your skincare according to climate changes. But sudden changing all the products brings skin in trouble to maintain balance and adapting new changes. Gradually introduce new product to your skin according to need. For example; if you’re travelling from cold to hot environment, you need to eliminate oily products from your skincare. Addition of new products is crucial to adapt different climate to avoid overwhelming your skin.
Maintain skin balance:
Due to environmental and climate changes it can be challenging to maintain skin balance.by using presentational measures you can maintain balance. Along with water quantity, water quality is also important. In some areas water is not good to drink, avoid drinking tap water because it may contain high minerals. Use bottled or filter water not only to drink but also to wash your face. High minerals in tap water can damage your skin and hair. Hard water that contain high amount of magnesium and calcium can be bring long term negative effects on your skin, also the reason of body acne. As an alternate always keep micellar water or cleansing wipes along with you, these help in cleansing face without the need of tap water.
Simplify your skincare routine:
Simplify your routine by using multi-purpose skincare products. For example; tinted sunscreen serves the function of light coverage foundation and SPF to protect your skin from UV rays. Do not use over skin care only focus on essentials, gentle cleansers, moisturizers to hydrate skin and sunscreen for protection are enough to deal with all skin problems especially during travelling. Use solid and stick products that are less likely to spill. Do not forget lip care as lips face dryness and irritation due to climate change. For this purpose carry small size lip balm. By using simple and multipurpose skincare, it is easy to maintain luggage to travel.
 Pack smart:
Packing smart is helpful to eliminate the risk of overweight of luggage. Invest in travelling size kits to protect your products from being leak. There is no need to carry big size bottles with you, convert all the skincare products in small traveling size containers. Pack product according to need, no need to carry too much product with you. Store skin care in cool and dry environment most of products are not good enough to bear extreme temperature.
Prioritize rest and stress management:
Prioritize rest and stress management is important to maintain overall well-being, including skin health. While travelling across time zone, try to maintain regular skin sleep schedule. Maintained sleep schedule helps to regulate your body’s time clock. Create comfortable sleep environment by caring essential like travel pillows. To maintain stress simple stretching and yoga are helpful. Spend few minutes in meditation daily and practice deep breathing. Quality sleep can repair and regenerate skin, because human body produce collagen while sleeping, reduce dark circle and maintain hydration balance. Stress triggers acne breakdowns and premature aging in young adults.
